Class Offerings
THREE YEAR PRESCHOOL CLASS (fee: $90/Mo.)
Offering Full and Half Day Academic Programs for Ages 2 Yr. 7 Mo. to Kindergarten. (**call for more on WSSD Kindergarten ACADEMY WRAP with transportation included!**)
There will be two sessions of three year old children, (Mon./Tues., or Thurs./Fri.), 9 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. Children must have turned 3 by 9/30/2011. Children may be admitted by administrative approval if they will be 3 by 2/1/2012. Children should be potty trained and ready to enter a learning environment. Children will be exposed to a variety of learning centers, as well as beginning skills of letters, numbers, and cutting.
FOUR YEAR PRE-K PROGRAMS (fee: $120/Mo.)
4 Year Classes Children must have turned 4 by 9/30/2011. Two sessions will be offered (M-W AM and PM or W-F AM and PM), from 9 A.M.-11:30 A.M. or 12:30—3 P.M. Every attempt will be made to create a regular and a more advanced preschool session. All children will work on kindergarten readiness included throughout preschool themes.
Advanced 5 YEAR PreK and KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS (MORNING AND AFTERNOON HALF DAY SESSIONS)
This will be a multiage session of older preschool children who have a late birthday and miss the kindergarten cut-off and a State Registered Kindergarten class. Children will blend for play, snack, and circle, and will receive instruction at their level and age for instructional center time. Preschool children can attend three or four of five days, and kindergarten attend all five days, as in public school. The class runs from 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., and the rates are $120/month for 3 days per week, $155/month for 4 days, and $190 /month for the five day session. Consult the director for further information. (NOTE - if less than 7 children request Kindergarten, a regular day will be scheduled from 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. An adjustment is needed for State Guidelines if full Kindergarten is running.)
FULL DAY PROGRAM (fee: $145/Week.) (Inquire about 3 or 4 full days by calling admin.)
Children are admitted to full day classes as 3,4, or 5 year children. Children attending full day will receive our academic program and will continue their day with enhanced programming to include yoga for children, a regular nutrition and health class, tumbling and gymnastics, ballet, cooking, foreign language, and other activities you might register for above and beyond your preschool day. Why not get all wonderful activities at one place, save time and gas in the evening, and have more quality family time.
ACADEMY WRAP PROGRAM FOR WSSD KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS!! (fee: $110/Week)
The Kindergarten extension program will enable children in WSSD to attend Red Mill, Fishing Creek, or Newberry, and receive an academy portion of their day to include activities included above in the full day program and other fun and enriching activities. Transportation is included in this program.
